Job Title: Senior Project Controls Specialist (P6 Scheduler)

Position Type: Contract Assignment (40 hours/week)
Duration: Through end of 2026 with potential extension

System One is seeking a Senior Project Controls Specialist (Primavera P6 Scheduler) to support complex nuclear and large-scale energy projects from design through final delivery. This role is responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing integrated project schedules to ensure alignment with project scope, cost, and delivery objectives.

Responsibilities:
Develop, update, and manage detailed project schedules using Primavera P6
Integrate multiple project schedules into a master schedule
Perform critical path analysis, float analysis, and schedule risk assessments
Identify schedule variances and recommend corrective actions
Collaborate with project managers, engineering, and supply chain teams
Support earned value analysis and progress reporting
Ensure compliance with PMO standards and scheduling best practices
Support change management and continuous improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Minimum 10 years of project scheduling experience on large-scale projects
At least 5 years of Primavera P6 experience
Experience in nuclear, energy, infrastructure, or industrial projects
Strong understanding of project scheduling, critical path methodology, and risk analysis
Excellent communication, organizational, and technical writing skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting nuclear power plant projects or outages
Experience with earned value management (EVM)
Experience working in a PMO environment

Additional Requirements:
Eligible to work under DOE regulations (10 CFR Part 810)
Ability to travel approximately 25% as needed
Ability to work in a fast-paced, regulated environment
