Job Title: Buyer – Agency Contract

Pay Rate: $37.00 – $74.00 per hour (based on experience and market location)

System One is seeking a Buyer to support procurement and contract administration activities. This role works closely with Contract Administrators, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure efficient procurement operations, on-time delivery, and successful subcontract and purchase order (PO) closeout.

Responsibilities:
Prepare monthly reports to identify subcontracts ready for closeout and support the closeout process
Generate weekly reports to track upcoming and overdue purchase orders
Communicate with suppliers to confirm PO status and ensure on-time delivery
Notify Contract Administrators of delays or performance concerns
Coordinate with Shipping/Receiving to ensure accurate and timely material handling
Support new supplier screening and onboarding activities
Process small-dollar (P-card) procurement requisitions
Assist in resolving invoicing issues, including match exceptions
Support additional procurement and contract administration tasks as assigned

Required Qualifications:
High school diploma with at least 5 years of related experience, or associate degree with 4 years of experience, or bachelor’s degree in a related field
Experience working with suppliers and internal stakeholders
Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in DOE, DOD, or government-regulated environments
Background in warehouse, shipping/receiving, or material handling
Experience in nuclear or other highly regulated industries
Military experience is a plus
