Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for an Industrial Hygienist/Safety Professional opportunity in Oak Ridge, TN at the Y-12 National Security Complex.

Position Overview:

Track and trend safety data for use in programmatic improvement and field safety improvements.
Perform project oversight inspections.
Performing hazard assessments.
Perform accident/injury investigations.
Review safety documents.
Attend various project meetings.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree and 20+ years of relevant experience.
Experience with field oversight of work activities, facility oversight inspections and walk downs, working with management.
Must be able to climb ladders/stairs, work in hot/cold environments, and operate a motor vehicle.
Have knowledge of OSHA (29 CFR), EPA (40 CFR), and DOT (49 CFR) regulations and requirements.

Other Job Requirements:

Must be a U.S. Citizen
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE Q Security Clearance
