I&C Engineer - Direct Hire (Onsite)
Location: Oak Ridge, TN | Schedule: Full-time (40 hrs/week) | Type: Direct Hire

Overview:
Hands-on I&C Engineer role supporting Commercial Grade Dedication (CGD) and testing in a nuclear environment, ideal for someone who likes troubleshooting and reverse-engineering legacy/obsolete electronics.

Responsibilities:
Reverse engineer & troubleshoot obsolete/legacy electronic components
Support CGD for safety-related (QL1) equipment
Create/execute test plans; build test setups
Perform failure analysis/repairs and technical evaluations
Analyze results and write concise technical reports
Ensure compliance with applicable nuclear codes/standards

Requirements:
BS in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Nuclear, or related)
Electronic systems troubleshooting + reverse engineering experience
Read/interpret electrical schematics & technical docs
Hands-on with DMM, oscilloscope, power supplies, etc.
Strong analytical/problem-solving skills

Nice to Have:
Nuclear or supplier experience
CGD knowledge (EPRI NP-5652) / equipment qualification
Environmental or seismic testing experience
