Job Title: Construction Project Manager
Employment Type: Long Term Contract

About this Role
Client is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead construction projects ($500K). This is a 100% onsite role requiring respiratory capability and the ability to work in a secure nuclear environment. The position follows a 4/10 schedule with anticipated overtime (no on-call) and may require shift work (days, nights, weekends).
The Construction Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering projects while ensuring performance against scope, schedule, and budget. This role may also serve as a Control Account Manager (CAM).
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage projects up to $500K, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and budget
Serve as Control Account Manager (CAM), managing cost, schedule, and technical performance
Develop and maintain work packages with realistic durations and budgets
Perform variance analysis and implement corrective action plans
Apply Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) to monitor performance
Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies
Present project status, trends, and issues to stakeholders and federal sponsors
Lead constructability reviews and assess impacts to cost and schedule
Interface with program, project, and line management to resolve issues and execute plans
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
Support investigations into abnormal events and implement corrective actions
Maintain strong customer engagement and communication
Education
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, scientific discipline, or related field OR equivalent experience
Experience
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, including project management in construction, engineering, or procurement
Nuclear facility or high-hazard environment experience
Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS), risk management, and project controls
Strong knowledge of construction lifecycle and project execution
Security Clearance
Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q Clearance
Desired Qualifications
Active DOE Q Clearance
Nuclear work experience
Experience at LANL or DOE/NNSA facilities
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
