Savannah River Nuclear Solutions is looking for (1) Senior Business Analyst - Estimating

Education & Experience: A Master's degree in business / construction management / technical / engineering or a related area and 2 years of practical experience. Bachelor's degree in business / construction management / technical / engineering or a related area and 5 years of practical experience would be considered equivalent. An Associate's degree and 8 years of practical experience would be considered equivalent. A high school diploma and 12 years of relevant experience would also be considered equivalent

Top Skills & Years of Experience:
-Possesses strong personal computer skills.
-Requires considerable proficiency in the use of automated accounting, budgeting, cost management and estimating systems as tools for performing required duties
-Working knowledge and understanding of project management and cost and schedule control at the tactical level is necessary, along with a knowledge of operations, maintenance, or project startup and construction.
-Estimating Specialty – Demonstrated skill in conceptual estimating, coordination with technical personnel, interfacing with engineers, knowledge of field construction techniques, labor, and equipment requirements.
-Ability to apply concepts and methods to quantify work condition impacts on costs is necessary
-Construction / Engineering / Estimating experience.
-Reading, interpreting and generating Material Take-offs from Design drawings for multiple disciplines (mechanical, electrical, etc.)
-Experience with Microsoft office software especially Excel and Word

Nice to Have:
-Candidates who have possessed an active DOE clearance (L or Q) within the past two (2) years are preferred.
-Experience with Success estimating software.

PF-81 Evaluation Criteria:
• Price and Cost to Company: 20%
• Technical Acceptability: 80%

Duration of the Contract: One (1) Year with the option to extend for two (2) additional one (1) year option years in accordance with the attached job title.
• Option Periods are not guaranteed and are executed at the discretion of the hiring manager.
• Yearly options will automatically include a 3.5% escalation.

Estimates Hours Per Year:
2080 ST 200 OT

Anticipated Work Schedule:
6:00p-4:30p Mon-Thurs

Onsite or Remote? 100% onsite. Local candidates or willing to relocate at the candidate's expense.
