I am currently supporting one of our clients in their efforts to grow their team with the addition of a Mechanical Design Engineer!

This is a 1 year+ W2 contract position potential to extend or convert. It is a remote role. The pay is $51.98/hour. This is a 5/8s schedule.

Main responsibilities include:
Mechanical design and analysis of Heavy Duty and Aeroderivative gas turbine components. Analysis focus will include evaluation of hot gas path and rotor components.
Execute the design or evaluation of assigned hardware using sound engineering practices and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements.
Participate and present in formal and informal technical reviews for all design tasks and output with Controlled Title Holders, following the documented NPI and RCA Processes.
