***Pay $108 hour- per diem is $178/day paid 7 days a week, which comes out to roughly $1,246 per week or about $65K annually in per diem***
We are seeking Project Manager II to support capital facilities and construction projects at one of its nuclear generating facilities. This role delivers upgrades, equipment replacements, building/facility modifications, long term plan development, and other capital improvements. Projects typically range from $100K to multi million dollar investment levels and require strict adherence to nuclear, regulatory, and safety protocols.
This position manages 510 concurrent projects, coordinating internal stakeholders, engineering, maintenance, construction, contractors, and vendors while ensuring delivery on scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk management requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Manage full lifecycle (cradle to grave) execution of facilities, construction, and capital improvement projects.
Develop and maintain scopes of work, schedules, budgets, long term project plans, and funding requests.
Lead project controls activities including cost tracking, forecasting, variance analysis, documentation, and reporting.
Interface daily with plant stakeholders: engineering, maintenance, operations, supply chain, controls, finance, and leadership.
Source, contract, manage, and coordinate suppliers and external contractors.
Prepare and deliver project presentations to leadership, including authorization and funding approvals.
Conduct field walkdowns and plant observations for risk mitigation, constructability, and issue resolution.
Support risk management, quality assurance, safety compliance, and nuclear regulatory expectations.

Required Qualifications
57 years of facilities, construction, utility, power plant, or commercial nuclear power project management experience.
Demonstrated success managing projects ≥ $1M.
Strong financial acumen and experience with project controls and variance analysis.
Familiarity with PMI/PMBOK (Waterfall/Predictive) methodologies.
Ability to obtain unescorted nuclear access, which includes:
o Federal background investigation
o Fitness for Duty testing (drug & alcohol)
o Compliance with NRC Access Authorization requirements
U.S. citizenship (required).
Preferred Qualifications
Construction or Engineering degree (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Nuclear) from an ABET accredited program.
Commercial nuclear or utility/power plant experience.
Experience with SAP, Oracle Unifier, Workday/UKG, MS Project, or Primavera P6.
PMP certification strongly preferred (not required).
