I&C V&V Design Engineer
Location: Remote
Type: Long-Term Contract
Pay Rate: $67–$110/hr

System One is seeking an I&C Verification & Validation (V&V) Design Engineer to support advanced Generation IV nuclear reactor technologies and Natrium digital I&C systems.

Responsibilities:
• Lead planning and execution of digital I&C V&V activities
• Develop V&V plans, test procedures, schedules, and reports
• Support FAT/SAT/SyAT integration and acceptance testing
• Coordinate with engineering, project teams, suppliers, and licensing groups
• Support audits, QA/QC compliance, and configuration management
• Develop and review technical design documentation including specifications, P&IDs, and control system drawings
• Provide technical oversight of supplier V&V activities

Requirements:
• B.S. or higher in Controls, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline
• 10+ years of I&C/V&V experience
• Experience with safety-related or high-integrity digital systems
• Knowledge of 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, ASME NQA-1, IEEE, or IEC standards preferred
• Strong technical leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with QA/QC programs, corrective actions, and audit support
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, or SolidWorks preferred

Desired:
• Advanced reactor or sodium fast reactor experience
• Nuclear-grade DCS or reactor protection systems
• Supplier V&V oversight and startup testing experience
