Mechanical Engineer - Greenville, SC
Estimated Duration of Work Assignment: 12 months
Pay Rate: Not Defined / need Candidate's requested rate
Hours: 40 hours/week estimated, depending on project needs, 50 hours/week max. Working in person at the Greenville office.

Position Details:
• Plan, organize, and coordinate process / mechanical engineering and multi-disciplined
• team / design projects while engaged in the planning, design and construction phases
• of engineering projects through project startup
• Prepare and review calculations and specifications relating to Piping and Instrumentation
• Diagram (P&ID) development
• Demonstrate design experience in areas such as, but not limited to mechanical systems, water
• and waste systems, and equipment design
• Generate and review the accuracy of design / evaluation calculations, and specifications
• Familiarity with computer aided drafting applications is required

Desired Qualifications / Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Bachelor of Science in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of five (5) or more years of experience (nuclear preferred) in design, estimating, specification preparation, construction document preparation, and related phases of engineering
• Must have a working knowledge of federal (including Department of Energy Orders), state, and local codes and standards applicable to mechanical engineering design

Yes. Job duties may include periodic physical duties. Most job duties will require the ability to work at a desk - sitting/standing in a stationary position for extended periods of time, visual acuity for computer work, etc.
