JOB SUMMARY
The Electrical Engineer supports construction and infrastructure projects within a project team environment at the Knolls Site. This role is responsible for developing project scope, supporting engineering design activities, and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
The Electrical Engineer will perform engineering assignments supporting construction and facility-related projects. Responsibilities include developing project scope in collaboration with sponsors and supporting the preparation of technical documents including specifications, cost estimates, and design deliverables.
The role involves reviewing engineering drawings and providing technical support during the construction phase. The engineer will coordinate with architectural and engineering firms to develop concept designs, construction documentation, and project estimates.
Additional responsibilities include interfacing with facility personnel, contractors, and internal project teams to ensure alignment on project objectives and execution. The position also provides oversight and coordination to support project delivery and ensure compliance with engineering standards and requirements.

WORK HOURS
A standard 40-hour work week is expected. Additional schedule requirements may be provided by the client.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS � EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Education
� Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Electrical Engineering
Experience / Skills
� 5�10+ years of electrical engineering experience
� Experience developing contract documents, engineering calculations, and cost estimates
� Knowledge of building codes and applicable engineering standards
� Experience in construction administration (submittals, RFIs, inspections)

PREFERRED / DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
� Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification and/or Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
� Prior consulting engineering experience
� Working knowledge of utility projects
� Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC)
