Nuclear Design Engineer - Chattanooga, TN
Project/Work Scope: Supporting Corporate Projects for 2-3 months (approximately 300 hours); remote role

Estimated Duration of Work Assignment: 300 hours (2-3 months)

Position Details:
• Engineering Change Modifications: Develop, review, and execute high-quality Engineering Change (EC) packages in strict accordance with IP-ENG-001 "Standard Design Process" procedures.
• Design & Analysis: Perform complex engineering calculations, design evaluations, and technical reviews for nuclear plant systems, structures, and components.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all engineering activities adhere to nuclear safety standards, operational licenses, and federal regulatory requirements.
• Project Leadership: Provide technical guidance and oversight to junior engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure design changes are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Interface with plant operations, maintenance, and regulatory bodies to seamlessly integrate design changes into existing plant infrastructure.

Desired Qualifications / Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Holds or has held an Engineering Change package nuclear utility qualification with the last 7 years
• Has produced engineering change packages IAW IP-ENG-001 (Standard Design Process)
• Has a minimum of 10 years of nuclear design engineering experience
• Bachelor's degree in engineering
