Thomas Thor currently has short-term (~3 months) openings for Project Coordinators with extensive maintenance project management or project coordination experience at commercial nuclear power plants. This work would be onsite full-time at our client's plant in Michigan. Our client is seeking individuals who have hands-on field experience and be able to oversee maintenance and outage work in the field.

Specific responsibilities include:
* Develop and manage schedules for field activities to be completed for areas of responsibility, including support for integration of planned work to the work-week schedule.
* Obtain and maintain competent knowledge for required procedures and processes to enable planned field activities..
* Perform, support, and manage the development of required work permits, engineering changes, and evaluations within work procedures to enable work activities.
* Attend and represent areas of responsibility within work planning meetings to ensure timely and effective execution of work and support from interfacing groups
*Provide oversight of subcontractor field activities conducted, including ensuring plan and procedure compliance for QA/QC, Health & Safety, permit commitments, security requirements, and other related requirements

Qualifications:
*5+ years of direct project management / coordination experience for maintenance-related projects at commercial nuclear power plants
* Nuclear projects experience required (outage, start-up, commissioning experience is useful)
* U.S. Citizenship required due to security requirements for this role.

Pay rate range: $85 - $95/hr (negotiable)
Per Diem: $178/d X 7 days/wk
Mob/demob: up $1000 each way, based on distance traveled
Duration: ~3 months
Overtime: 10 - 20 hrs/wk
