Responsible for applying engineering processes, design criteria, and software applications to support the design and construction of power-related systems. Supports estimate preparation, develops design options, and prepares construction specifications. Provides guidance, oversight, and quality assurance (QA) reviews for approved contractors as they develop design solutions, cost estimates, and construction packages.

Key responsibilities
Safety-first execution: create and maintain a safe work environment.
Understand end-to-end processes for planning, design, operation, construction, and maintenance.
Coordinate with internal departments involved in design/construction/maintenance.
Apply design practices and work processes.

Use required discipline/design software applications.
Follow industry standards and Company design standards.
Support design standard / criteria development for the system.
Support construction and maintenance teams with day-to-day operational needs.
Develop estimates and materials take-offs for projects.
Transmit construction packages and supporting specifications/documentation.
