Open-ended contract position, 100% remote, paying $90-130/hr, based on experience. Work 9/80 schedule so you have every other Friday off.

This position is in support of the leading SMR, finalizing design. The position entails using ANSYS to do structural analyses and design of Nuclear Safety-Related and Non-Safety-Related structures.

Requirements:
* B.S. degree in structural engineering, PE preferred
* 8+years of current experience in the commercial nuclear industry as a structural design engineer
*Expertise with ANSYS
*Design and analysis of structures, including concret and steel, use of design software and finite element analyses.
*Working knowledge of the following codes preferred: ASCE 43, ASCE 4, ACI 349 & 318, ASCE 7, IBC, and AISC N690, Steel Construction Manual and Seismic Design Manual.
