NQA-1 Source Inspector

1099 position

Position Responsibilities

Perform NQA-1 Level I oversight inspections
Inspect rebar bends for compliance with project specifications
Conduct dimensional inspections of steel bars and related products
Review manufacturing and quality documentation
Verify compliance with customer and regulatory requirements
Document inspection findings and prepare inspection reports
Communicate quality concerns and nonconformances to management
Maintain accurate inspection records
Required Qualifications

Current or previous NQA-1 Level I qualification
5 years Experience inspecting rebar, reinforcing steel, or fabricated steel products
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and inspection procedures
Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
Ability to work independently in a manufacturing environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic reporting systems
Required Qualifications

Nuclear industry experience
Source inspection experience
Quality assurance or quality control background
Familiarity with ASME, NQA-1, or related quality standards
Experience with dimensional inspection tools and measuring equipment
People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply
