Thomas Thor currently has a very long-term contract opening for a Supply Chain / Supplier Oversight Project Engineer. This role is hybrid, allowing for partial remote work, and requires approximately 25-50% travel.

This individual is responsible for management and technical integration of supplier projects supporting the Project in conjunction with the Contract Administrator and Technical Representative.

Tasks:
* Acts in a project management capacity for supplier performance management and oversight.
* Supplies classic project management tools to oversee suppliers including cost, schedule, submittal oversight, and resources.
* Key collaborator with internal technical and commercial teams to ensure fidelity to contract and technical direction with supplier
* Develop statements of work (SOW) and project planning to execute supplier projects to meet program objectives
* Facilitate supplier selection activities for the request for proposals (RFPs) and team review/selection processes

Key Qualifications and Skills:
* Technical or engineering degree required.
* 10 or more years of experience in supplier oversight required
* Prefer 3-5 years of manufacturing oversight
* Understanding of manufacturing travelers, welding, and similar manufacturing processes
* Experience defining supplier work scope to include development of SOWs, RFPs and providing direction and oversight of supplier projects required.
