ReNuke Services is seeking a Project Manager I for our client's site in Lake Mary, FL!

The Project Manager I will operate under the general direction of a Manager of Project Management and is responsible for managing or assisting with all phases of project planning and execution to ensure success across scope, schedule, cost, quality, environmental, safety, communications, security, and integration. Typically, this position is assigned a portfolio of "White" ranked projects according to our Risk-Informed Project Ranking Process, but may also take on higher-risk projects if an Enhanced Support and Oversight Plan (ESOP) is in place.
The role is accountable for a portfolio of projects with low to moderate levels of risk that impact various levels of the company, senior management, or external agencies. PM-Is may occasionally be assigned projects with specific risk-informed requirements based on their expertise. They act as unifying agents, providing leadership, decision making, management, guidance, coordination, and control for projects in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Job responsibilities include creating, staffing, and leading project teams, managing daily oversight and coordination among various internal and external service providers, and interfacing with functional managers. The PM-I will structure, lead, and assist with project meetings and reports to ensure open communication with stakeholders and management, maintaining project plans and reporting according to PMCoE standards.
Other key duties involve planning projects (scope, schedule, cost, safety, and quality), driving project planning processes, executing projects within scope, cost, and schedule limits, and handling all related activities like scope definition, design, construction, commissioning, and turnover to operations.
Regarding qualifications, candidates should have at least a 4-year degree or an Associates degree and two years of relevant work experience. Preferred qualifications include certifications like Certified Associate of Project Management, Project Management Professional, Professional Engineer, and other relevant project management and technical credentials. Experience in project leadership, risk management, utility, construction management, and proficiency in scheduling/cost controls are highly valued. Transmission, Distribution and Substation experience preferred.

- This worker will not perform physical labor or need to lift heavy objects or climb ladders.
- They will be required to wear PPE: FR clothing, safety glasses, hard hat, and approved footwear.
- The work environment will be mainly office-based, with occasional field visits, including energized substations.
- No machinery operation is required.
- Driving is part of the role (about 10-15% of their time), with an average radius of 100 miles, using a personal or rental vehicle both onsite and offsite.
