End Date: December 31, 2028 w/possibility of extension

Position Description:

NPower Solutions is seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to support Calvert Cliffs Clean Energy Center in Lusby, MD. The Mechanical Design Engineer will provide support for a variety of plant modification and capital improvement projects.

Essential Functions:

o Develop and support mechanical engineering designs for plant modification projects.
o Prepare and review engineering design packages, calculations, specifications, and supporting documentation.
o Coordinate with site engineering project teams, and vendors to ensure timely design execution and configuration control.
So upport project schedules and outage milestones.
o Evaluate mechanical systems, components, and equipment to support plant reliability, safety, and long-term operation.

Required Qualifications:

o Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering field or similar experience.
o Experience with mechanical design in a commercial nuclear power plant.
o Knowledge of engineering change processes, design documentation, and applicable industry codes and standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

o Professional Engineer (PE) license.
o Previous Constellation/Exelon Nuclear experience.
o Familiarity with Calvert Cliffs Clean Energy Center.
