Pay: $69-$115/hr.

Are you an experienced mechanical engineer with deep expertise in ASME Section III nuclear codes? We're looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer - ASME Lead to joining a dynamic team working on cutting edge nuclear component design and analysis.

What you'll do:

In this role, you'll take the lead on detailed design, analysis, and documentation for ASME Section III Class HB Pressure boundaries and class HG internals. You'll develop and maintain design specification, calculations, load evaluations, and qualification reports while preparing and certifying engineering design packages to ensure full code compliance.

You'll collaborate across multidisciplinary engineering teams to define design requirements, resolve technical challenges, and optimise component performance, while interfacing with internal quality teams, third-party reviewers, and regulatory bodies to support audits and code certification processes. Additional responsibilities include material selection, fabrication requirements, non conformance evaluations, and providing technical mentorship to junior engineers.

What you bring:

B.S. in Mechanical Engineer

10+ years of equipment/component experience

Active professional Engineer (PE) license - required

Demonstrate experience with ASME Section III, NQA-1, and NRC regulations
