ProSidian seeks a Exempt Fire Protection Program Improvement Support Specialist - Engineering (EN102) as part of our Engagement Team Cadre located at Savannah River Site / Aiken, South Carolina suporting Environmental Management Sector Engineering Functions aligned with NAICS: 874-7 Technical General Support Services - Technical General Support Services (GSSC) related to NAICS: 541690 - Environmental Consulting Services, NAICS: 541690 - Scientific and Technical Consulting Services - Energy, and NAICS: 591690 - Professional Scientific Technical Consulting Services supporting a liquid waste contractor (Savannah River Remediation [SRMC]) at the Savannah River Site in Aiken, SC, which is owned by the U.S. Department of Energy. Work roles are Senior Consultant and related to The Fire Protection Engineer (FPE) Engineering Functional Area necessary to fulfill the work requirements of RFP301367 Fire Protection Engineer at a liquid waste contractor (Savannah River Remediation [SRMC]) at the Savannah River Site in Aiken, SC, which is owned by the U.S. Department of Energy.

This as a Labor Hour Subcontract or Contract W-2 (IRS-1099) Position and ProSidian reserves the right to convert to a Full-Time ProSidian employed W-2 Position.

Seeking candidates with the following Education/Experience/Qualifications:

▪ EDUCATION: Bachelor of Science or Associate Degree in Business, Communications, Education or Engineering, with 10 years equivalent experience in project I technical support or document /configuration control in/ nuclear/chemical facilities/environment.
▪
▪ Bachelor of Science or Associate Degree in Business, Communications, Education, Engineering, or a related discipline.
▪ Minimum of 10 years of equivalent experience in project or technical support, document control, or configuration control within a nuclear-facility, chemical-facility, or comparable highly regulated environment.
▪ A combination of qualifying education and directly relevant experience must demonstrate the technical depth required for the assignment.

Candidate Skills Required

▪ EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
▪ Candidate must be familiar with electronic document control and configuration management systems (e.g. SRS Linking Document Database (LDD) or Fire Protection Database System (FPDS))
▪ Candidate must have prior experience with S/RID requirements (e.g. Safety Basis) implementation at SRS.
▪ Candidate must have prior QA auditor experience
▪ Candidate must have prior Causal Analysis experience
▪ Candidate must have Conduct of Operations training
▪ Candidate must have Operational Readiness Review or comparable expenence.
▪ Candidate must have interpersonal skills so as to establish and cultivate positive working relationships and interfaces with both internal and external customers
▪ Candidate must be fluent in the use of Microsoft Word/Excel/Power Point
▪ SKILLS REQUIRED
▪ Electronic document control and configuration management, including SRS Linking Document Database (LDD) and/or Fire Protection Database System (FPDS).
▪ S/RID, Safety Basis, NFPA, and fire-protection compliance requirements.
▪ Quality-assurance auditing and evidence-based assessment.
▪ Causal analysis, root-cause analysis, corrective-action development, and CST application.
▪ Technical document review, requirements extraction, database administration, and records accuracy.
▪ Procedure development, procedure revision, and training-protocol development.
▪ Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
▪ Clear written, verbal, and interpersonal communication.
