Talascend is currently seeking a Project Coordinator for a contract opportunity with our client in Bellevue, Washington.

Overview

The role involves managing activities related to a demonstration project, including planning, execution, and closure. The coordinator will support project teams in achieving deliverables, managing costs, schedules, and scope, and ensuring project success within budget and technical requirements.

Responsibilities

Facilitate management of project cost, schedule, and scope execution using project management best practices
Assist project teams in achieving project deliverables while remaining within budget
Support the planning process for work scope within control accounts
Develop and maintain staffing and resource plans to accomplish project work
Monitor and analyze cost and schedule variances using earned value data
Determine root causes of variances and develop corrective actions or recovery plans
Ensure records are stored according to corporate procedures
Maintain the project risk register and implement actions to mitigate risks
Work closely with the Project Management Office to ensure compliance with requirements

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management or project delivery
Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or equivalent
Experience working with multidisciplinary and matrixed teams
Proficiency in project planning, implementation, and results delivery
Working knowledge of project scheduling, budget control, EVMS tools, and project control requirements
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, and MS Project
Experience with Atlassian tools such as Confluence and Jira is a bonus
Experience with Primavera P6 is a plus
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Strong technical acumen with the ability to understand complex technical concepts
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated integrity, trust, and teamwork orientation
