Job Description
System One is hiring a Quality Control Inspector/Quality Control Inspector/Welding Specialist for a contract-to-hire position.
The successful candidate will monitor the quality of incoming and outcoming products or materials as well as production procedures to be a firm advocate or quality for the client. Assist with moving materials throughout the shop as needed and perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:
Dependable/Responsible.
Read blueprints, plans, and specifications to understand the requirements or products and services
Measure product dimensions, examine functionality, and compare the final product to the specifications.
Resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner to include participating and leading problem solving.
Able to follow directions and work in a team-oriented environment.
Able to follow Company and general industry safety requirements.
Able to verify that container parts and dimensions match drawing within allowable tolerances.
Able to perform leak tests per the client’s procedures and other Quality tests per procedure.
Verify gasket installed properly and -Inspect overall appearance and workmanship of completed units after painting to verify paint/stenciling is acceptable.
Able to verify all accessible welds meet applicable weld codes per the client’s code-specific procedures.
Able to perform or support audits, internal and external customers
Willing and able to follow basic safety and quality procedures.
Ability to lift up to 75lbs.
Must wear proper PPE (safety glasses, earplugs, and steel toe shoes).
Good communication skills (verbal & written).
Successfully complete the forklift certification process.
Availability to work required shifts and hours.
Must have a Diploma or Equivalent.
Must be 18 years or older
Must pass pre-employment physical/drug screen, background, and E-Verify screenings.

Experience:
Worked as a Quality Inspector: 1 year (Preferred).
Warehouse or Shop: 1 year (Preferred).
Welding Knowledge (Preferred)
