The required qualifications are as follows:
• Proven leadership experience, ideally supervising crews in fabrication, welding, or a related trade
• A servant-leadership mindset - team-first, hands-on, invested in people's growth
• Comfortable managing multiple crews and projects running at the same time
• Working knowledge of fabrication processes, blueprints, and shop operations a plus (GMAW, GTAW, SAW, SMAW experience welcomed)
• Minimum OSHA 10 Certification, OSHA 30 Certification preferred
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced job shop setting with varied, concurrent work

Position Details:
This role supports a culture built on safety, quality craftsmanship, integrity, and teamwork - with a strong emphasis on developing people, not just managing output. The ideal candidate is first and foremost a servant leader - someone who leads by example, supports their team, and builds trust on the shop floor. Direct fabrication and welding experience is preferred, but candidates with strong leadership backgrounds from other trades who have led crews will also be considered. As a job shop, some ramp-up time is expected for any new hire, even those with prior supervisory experience.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and support multiple crews across concurrent shop projects
• Direct daily workflow, labor allocation, and scheduling across the shop floor
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide hands-on training and guidance
• Uphold safety, quality, and operational standards across all crews
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient shop environment
• Partner with project and production leadership to keep jobs on track
• Oversee proper use and upkeep of shop equipment
• Manage performance, mentorship, and development of shop personnel

Interested parties that meet or exceed the requested qualifications, please send a detailed resume and rate expectation to Matthew Cukras at MC@BCPengineers.com
