What this role offers:
Location: Richland, Washington
Full-Time, Onsite, Contract 12 months, with high likelihood of extension based on performance/job needs
Schedule: 4 x 10's (Monday-Thursday)
Salary Range: Candidate level and pay rate determined by minimum education/experience requirements:
Level I - $30-55/hr
Level II - $45-75/hr
Level III - $55-95/hr
There is no per diem or mob/demon offered for this position.

Responsibilities:
Support project monitoring, risk identification, and cost accuracy for a major nuclear development program
Develop, track, and execute project estimates, schedules, and cost baselines
Provide technical direction and assistance to project managers on scope, schedule, and cost estimating tools and processes
Monitor and report schedule, scope, and cost changes to project managers and program management in a timely manner
Prepare budget-to-actual reporting, variance analyses, forecasts, and contingency balance reconciliations
Support the annual budget cycle and month-end/year-end closing processes
Assist in preparing and updating budget policies, procedures, desk manuals, and training tools
Apply Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) principles as applicable
Interface with internal managers/supervisors and external agencies on project reporting
Qualifications:
Levels I, II, III - Minimum requirements for education and experience in a project controls / project management position in an industrial environment:
Level I - Bachelor's degree + 4 years experience; OR an AA degree + 6 years experience; OR a high school diploma or GED + 8 years experience.
Level II - Bachelor's degree + 5 years experience; OR an AA degree + 7 years experience; OR a high school diploma or GED + 9 years experience.
Level III - Bachelor's degree + 8 years experience; OR an AA degree + 9 years experience; OR a high school diploma or GED + 11 years experience
Formal training on Primavera P6 or another project management system
Working knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) methodology
Experience with detailed variance analysis and project cost/schedule reporting
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Project, Word, and PowerPoint
Strong analytical, mathematical, and data-checking skills
Well-developed written and oral communication skills, including comfort presenting to groups
U.S. citizenship required
