Job Description/Duties:

• Conduct general warehouse maintenance for organization, cleaning, and security.
• Ensure accuracy of, “receiving documents” (i.e., packing slips and bills of lading) and storage of stock/non-stock material(s) delivered to storeroom or job site.
• Assist in storeroom organization by locating similar and/or compatible materials for volume and ergonomic positioning in bin-location.
• Assist in VMI material stocking levels for ordering and invoice reconciliation.
• Perform back-office tasks in a warehouse environment and assist in tool room operations for check-outs and returns.
• Promptly report to supervisor damage/defective equipment or conditions that may cause damage/injury.
• Compile reports, forms, and documents as required.
• Transfer materials to and from other storeroom locations ensuring inventory accuracy.
• Perform physical inventory counts on materials as scheduled.
• Reconcile inventory unmatched counts to management for review and approval.
• Operate forklift and other equipment to load and unload materials from freight carriers and other transport equipment.
• Resolve any ordering and/or delivery discrepancies with end users and/or suppliers for expected materials and logistics services.

Qualifications/Required Skills:

• 2 years of material handling experience preferred.
• 1 year of warehousing or inventory experience preferred.
• Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., ESP, Word, Excel, etc.).
• General working knowledge of power plant operations preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and to sit/stand for prolonged periods.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Interface with Oracle and Maximo plant software applications as required.
• SAP knowledge a plus.
• Complete annual hoist and rigging load certifications with approved vendors.
• Ability to work in varied weather conditions.
• High School diploma or GED (college degree preferred).
