Allied Power Services is currently seeking a Cost Engineer to support their nuclear contract in Texas.
Job Overview:
Supports the Site Core Team with input and maintenance of site financial information in the cost management system. Manages the timeline, budget and risks of the work performed.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
Maintains Cost Management System
Verify charges and process weekly invoices
Prepare weekly/monthly reports for Core Team, Senior Leadership Team and Client
Provides analysis of cost variances and trends, assists with contingency tracking and risk monitoring
Tracks work scope funding and timely payment authorization of invoices
Supports creation and maintenance of Outage Load Boards
Prepares Daily Outage Cost Reports
Forecast cost projections and identifies cost trends for management attention
Tracks project progress through the earned value process
Develops resource / cash flow plans to project future resource needs
Demonstrates skill in identifying, analyzing, and providing solutions to cost engineering problems
Ability to support payroll as needed
Required Qualifications:
3-5 years experience with cost controls processes
Required to have a bachelors degree or equivalent experience in cost controls
Proficient in select Microsoft Office programs Access, Excel, Outlook
Desired/Preferred Qualifications:
Nuclear experience is preferred

Lift, carry, position and/or equipment (weighing up to 25 lbs.)
