ANR Group Inc is accepting resumes for a Project Scheduler Nuclear Projects I, II, III Located in Richland, WA.
Applicants must have experience in a commercial nuclear power plant environment to be considered. Compensation ranges from $55 to $105 per hour, with full benefits included. The assignment is anticipated to last one year and is eligible for per diem.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK – SPECIFIC

Schedule project activities (date, time, sequence) for the Nuclear or Engineering Projects organizations. Perform schedule maintenance between Passport and Primavera scheduling tools. Assist various project managers in developing schedules for on-line, outage projects and life-cycle schedules, including Enterprise Risk projects. This includes development of detailed plans/schedules, resolving conflicts with schedule adherence and the development of out-year schedules for various size projects. The purpose of this position is to deliver a timely, coherent, comprehensive and accurate set of schedules to the site for daily, on-line and outage work periods.
Principal Accountabilities:
• Manages project activities for refueling outages, forced outages, and on-line work as assigned, providing oversight of the staff involved in planning, leading, controlling, and monitoring to ensure that work is implemented safely, with quality, on schedule, and within budget. This includes all aspects of project implementation including budget, work package preparation, parts procurement, ALARA planning, industrial and nuclear safety, clearance order preparation, work prioritization, resource loading, risk management, and work execution including resolution of schedule delays and conflicts.
• Develops the budgets, including tracking cost versus budget for assigned projects.
• Assures proper progress and focus through frequent interface with the client, engineers, related parties, and management.
• Develop and manage contracts and interface with vendors.
• Develops project schedules commensurate with project complexity and size with the goal of being able to manage risk, accurately track progress, enforce accountability, and manage critical path and float.
• Mentors other less experienced project managers.
• Prepare and deliver written and oral communications to various groups including senior management.
• Develop and maintain long range plan strategies associated with assigned projects.
• Support effective implementation of the Columbia Generating Station Self-Assessment and Corrective Action Program.
• Support the following: Outage support including OCC

REQUIRED EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

• Leadership and management skills, Vision creation, strategic planning, team creation and facilitation, strong communication both verbal and written. Excellent judgement and decision-making ability
• Understanding of risk management tools and practices. Effective with Microsoft Office tools such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point.
Level I
Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business, or related field from accredited college or university OR associates degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business, or related technical curriculum from accredited college or university AND two years’ experience in a technical field OR High School Diploma/GED AND four years’ experience in a technical field.
Level II
Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business, or related field from accredited college or university OR associates degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business, or related technical curriculum from accredited college or university AND two years’ experience in a technical field OR High School Diploma/GED AND four years’ experience in a technical field.
Level III
Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business, or related field from accredited college or university OR associates degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business, or related technical curriculum from accredited college or university AND two years? experience in a technical field OR High School Diploma/GED AND four years’ experience in a technical field.
