[Machinist CNC] CNC Machinist

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist with a minimum of five (5) years of experience setting up and operating CNC machine tools independently. The ideal candidate will have experience with Mazak and/or FANUC controls and be proficient in operating machining centers, turning centers, and bridge mills to manufacture precision components that meet customer specifications and industry quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC machine tools, including machining centers, turning centers, and bridge mills with minimal supervision.
Manufacture precision components in accordance with engineering drawings, customer specifications, and quality standards.
Interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, sketches, and work instructions to determine machining requirements.
Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and machine settings to achieve required tolerances and surface finishes.
Conduct in-process and final inspections using precision measuring instruments, gauges, and other inspection tools.
Measure components, raw materials, and finished parts to ensure compliance with specifications.
Troubleshoot machining and process issues to maintain productivity and quality.
Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and machining best practices.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of CNC machining experience setting up and operating CNC machine tools independently.
Experience with Mazak and/or FANUC control systems.
Strong knowledge of machining centers, turning centers, and CNC bridge mills.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and technical sketches.
Proficiency in the use of precision measuring equipment and inspection tools.
Working knowledge of machining practices, tooling, feeds, speeds, and material properties.
Ability to apply basic algebra, geometry, and trigonometry concepts related to machining and part manufacturing.
Ability to work effectively with limited supervision while maintaining high quality and productivity standards.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience operating large CNC bridge mills.
Experience machining large or complex components in a manufacturing environment.
Physical Requirements
The physical demands described here are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this position:

Frequently sit, stand, and walk throughout the workday.
Frequently climb and balance on large equipment.
Frequently stoop, kneel, crouch, and perform repetitive motions.
Frequently lift and/or move materials weighing up to 25 pounds.
Occasionally lift and/or move materials weighing up to 75 pounds.
Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment around moving equipment and machinery.
Work Environment
Manufacturing and machine shop environment.
Work performed under limited supervision.
Requires adherence to all safety standards and operational procedures.
