Chemistry Program SME Consultant (Remote)
Project Details: Small Modular Reactor Project
Work Location: Remote
Duration: 6-8 weeks (short term project)
Rate: Up to $95.00/hr non-exempt (dependent on experience level)
Hours: 10-20 hours per week

Position Overview: Client is standing up a PWR chemistry program and needs an experienced SME to review what's been built, including CEM lab setup. This is a practical, program-adequacy review: identify gaps, flag anything missing or incorrect, and recommend fixes.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Review existing PWR chemistry program documentation for completeness
• Evaluate CEM lab design/setup, including equipment selection (e.g., titration units, glassware specs) based on proven reliability
• Identify missing procedural or programmatic elements
• Provide concrete, equipment- and procedure-level recommendations

Qualifications:
• Hands-on experience setting up and/or overseeing a PWR chemistry/CEM lab in a commercial nuclear environment
• Strong working knowledge of PWR water/boron chemistry program elements, sampling, and lab instrumentation
• Practical, applied expertise and able to speak to specific equipment and procedural gaps, not just chemistry theory
• Comfortable working independently and fully remote
