Energy Solutions is currently hiring Journeyman Pipefitters that have worked and held Nuclear Security Clearance with unescorted access. This is for the fall Outage season, and the location is in Seneca, South Carolina. Additional qualifications are listed below. Required Experience:
3+ years of experience.
Prior nuclear power plant experience, highly desired.
Must be able to obtain nuclear unescorted access, including fitness for duty requirements.
Successful completion of all training including, Radiation Worker Training, Plant Access Training, Fitness for Duty, etc.
Ability to understand and carry out written and oral instructions.
Ability to assemble and disassemble objects and operate small equipment and power tools.
Availability for shift work, if needed.
Ability to support other crafts as requested.
Ability to work at varying heights, in cramped quarters, extreme heat and/or cold, and loud environments (above 89 decibels).
Knowledge of relevant processes and procedures.
Ability to obtain and maintain knowledge of technical manuals and procedures.
Ability to pass specific training and qualifications.
Willingness to work overtime, including shift work, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Ability to pass all background and screening requirements, including drug and/or alcohol screening.
Physical Demands:
Visual acuity, balancing, stooping, reaching, walking, manual dexterity, grasping, feeling, hearing, talking.
Capacity to think, concentrate, and focus for long periods.
Ability to read and write complex documents in English.
Capacity to reason and make sound decisions.
Ability to express thoughts orally.

Ability to walk job sites and climb.
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
Demonstrate proper use and care of hand tools and measuring devices.
Machine cut and thread pipe.
Manually cut and thread pipe.
Perform hydrostatic and pneumatic testing.
Install pipe with screwed fittings.
Install pipe with flanged fittings.
Install pipe hangers.
Clean, bevel, prepare, and install pipe with weld joints.
Test pipe installations.
Properly purge and monitor stainless steel piping.
Install valves, traps, or strainers.
Lay out pipe, including the use of templates.
Interpret detailed pipe sketches and blueprints.
Fabricate subassemblies from components (e.g., pressure reducing stations, trap stations).
Install prefab subassemblies or component parts.
Apply craft-related math skills.
Demonstrate proper use and care of power tools.
Wear a respirator as needed (blood pressure no higher than 150/90).
Use grinders properly (do not remove guard without supervisor approval).
Perform other related duties as assigned.
