The Digital Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) Subsequent License Renewal (SLR) Project is a strategic, multi-year initiative supporting the station's Subsequent License Renewal (SLR) Program and long-term operational excellence. The program will modernize both safety-related and non-safety-related analog systems through the implementation of advanced digital technologies, while transforming the main control room with state-of-the-art flat-panel displays and digital control interfaces. This large-scale modernization effort will be executed in carefully planned phases over the next decade, balancing innovation with operational reliability to minimize impacts on plant operations. Team members will have the opportunity to contribute to the design, engineering, licensing, and implementation of next-generation nuclear plant technologies that will enhance plant performance, maintainability, and operator effectiveness for years to come.
