Ability to pass a Background Check and Drug Tests

Serve as Responsible Design Engineer / Responsible Lead Engineer for Digital Modernization / Instrumentation & Control (I&C) projects, supporting the design and implementation of control system upgrades.

The role will include technical oversight of design products and engineering deliverables needed to support plant modifications, equipment upgrades, calculation impacts, design input requests, and related project activities.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or related field from an accredited college or university.
10+ years of experience in instrumentation and control (I&C) systems
Demonstrated experience developing, reviewing, or supporting engineering design products for industrial, utility, power generation, or similar complex facilities.
Knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and engineering practices within the candidate's discipline of expertise.
Ability to perform assigned work with limited direction while maintaining quality, accountability, and schedule awareness.
Review and challenge design products prepared by architect- engineers, vendors, and other external engineering organizations.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly document technical decisions and communicate issues to project stakeholders
Support resolution of technical questions, design comments, and engineering issues identified during project development, review, and implementation planning.
Participate in design reviews, project meetings, technical task pre-job briefs, walkdowns, and other coordination activities as needed. Support schedule and budget performance by communicating progress, risks, issues, and required decisions in a timely manner.
Ability to coordinate and work effectively in a team environment with site personnel, project organizations, vendors, and external engineering resources.

Requires Unescorted Access to the Protected Area of a Nuclear Plant
This assignment requires personal protective equipment (PPE)
PPE required along with job hazard analysis
PPE: Hardhat, gloves, safety glasses, sturdy shoes, hearing protection
