PMI Risk Management Professional
Work Location:  Full Time on Site, New Mexico
Duration: Initial one year contract with possibility of going Long term 
Rate Range: $70 to $85/hr
Hours: Full time / 40 hours (onsite)
Per diem: $178.00/day (7 days per week)
Mob / Demob: $750.00 each
Trip Home: $600.00/month travel reimbursement
US Citizenship Required

Primary Responsibilities:
Hands-On Risk Identification & Assessment

  • Personally conduct risk identification workshops and lead assessment sessions
  • Perform detailed qualitative and quantitative risk analyses yourself using industry-standard tools
  • Build, maintain, and update risk registers with your own analysis and documentation
  • Create risk assessment deliverables including probability/impact matrices, and reports
  • Develop comprehensive risk response strategies and detailed mitigation plans
  • Write contingency and fallback plans with actionable steps
  • Track and monitor risk triggers and early warning indicators in real-time
  • Personally implement and execute risk response actions as needed
  • Build and maintain risk tracking systems, dashboards, and databases
  • Generate regular risk reports, presentations, and communications 
  • Analyze risk data, calculate metrics, and produce trend analyses
  • Conduct hands-on risk audits and documentation reviews
  • Create risk management plans, procedures, templates, and tools from scratch
  • Develop training materials and conduct risk management training sessions
  • Document risk processes and best practices
  • Integrate risk management activities directly into project workflows

  • A technical expert who builds risk tools, registers, and reports
  • A detail-oriented professional who executes risk processes directly

What This Role IS NOT:
  • A supervisory or management position
  • An advisory role providing guidance while others execute
  • A position focused on delegation and oversight

Education / Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or related field or 8+ years of relevant experience
  • PMI-RMP (Risk Management Professional) certification highly preferred
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification highly preferred

Physical Requirements: Must be capable of climbing, walking, kneeling, bending, and lifting as part of daily job responsibilities. Ability to lift a minimum of 35 – 60 lbs.
