Sr. Electrical Engineer
Work Location: Onsite in Orangeville, UT
Rate: Not Defined / need Candidate’s requested rate
Per Diem: GSA Rates
Hours: 40+


 
Position Details: This role supports the design and infrastructure buildout phase of a nuclear fuel manufacturing facility. The facility is in active ramp-up with electrical design work underway, creating an immediate need for an experienced Lead Electrical Engineer who can lead the low-voltage electrical design and direct other electrical contractors through the design phase as the facility progresses toward equipment installation and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the low-voltage electrical design for the fuel manufacturing facility, from requirements through design and installation support.
  • Direct and coordinate other electrical contractors supporting the facility buildout; provide technical oversight and review of their work.
  • Develop electrical design packages, specifications, load calculations, and equipment selection for LV power distribution systems.
  • Interface with facility, mechanical, and process teams to integrate electrical design with overall facility requirements.
  • Support procurement of electrical equipment and materials, including reviewing vendor submittals.
  • Provide field support during installation and commissioning phases as needed.

The required qualifications are as follows:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience (education preferred, not required).
  • Proven experience leading low-voltage electrical design in industrial, petrochemical, refinery, or manufacturing facility environments.
  • Experience with LV power distribution design, load calculations, equipment specification, and electrical design packages.
  • Prior experience leading or directing other engineers or contractors.
