Turnaround Coordinator II – Louisiana
Project/Work Scope: Supporting an LNG site for upcoming turn arounds and outages
Estimated Start Date: September 2026
Estimated Duration of Work Assignment: 6+ months
Pay Rate: Not Defined / need Candidate’s requested rate
Per Diem: $150/per day
Mob / Demob: $500 each way
Position Details:
- A candidate who possesses strong leadership skills, adaptability and resilience in navigating change.
- The candidate demonstrates a strong commitment to the site’s safety culture and possesses excellent communication skills to ensure information is clearly conveyed and effectively understood among contractors, stakeholders, and project teams.
- Expectations and responsibilities for a successful candidate.
- Coordination and control of STO mechanical execution activities
- Knowledge of LNG, petrochemical, and mechanical systems/equipment
- Use of SAP PM for STO tracking and execution support
- Managing STO work scope and revisions
- Supporting development of execution work packs
- Coordination with schedulers and critical path analysis
- Managing contractor execution and compliance
- Coordination of tools, equipment, mobilization and certifications
- Monitoring progress, costs, and schedule performance
- Support during startup and post-turnaround activities
- Application of HSSE procedures and SIMOPS management
- Ensuring compliance with facility MOC requirements
- Meeting STO phase gate deliverables
- Coordination with operations, engineering, contractors, procurement
- Resolving execution and contractor conflicts
- Capturing and implementing improvements
- Participation in contractor onboarding and scope validation
- Directing teams and influencing execution performance
- Effective communication across all levels and disciplines
- Managing multiple execution activities simultaneously
- Resolving execution challenges and schedule impacts
- Working effectively in changing turnaround conditions
- Demonstrating integrity and ownership
Desired Qualifications / Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Candidate must have refinery or LNG experience.
- Must have valid drivers license.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Must be able to stand for long periods of time, walking on uneven surfaces, bending, crouching, twisting, and kneeling as well as capability of climbing ladders and working on elevated surfaces. Candidate will work in an industrial setting and may be exposed to weather and noises.
