Title: Civil/Structural Designer - Nuclear
Location: OH/PA
Duration: 11+ months
Pay Range: $50 - $65/hr depending on experience. 1.5X on OT

Qualifications
7+ years of civil/structural drafting or design experience, with 10+ years preferred for senior-level candidates.

Nuclear power generation experience is strongly preferred.

High school diploma, technical school certificate, or Associate Degree in Drafting, Design Technology, Civil/Structural Technology, or a related field; a Bachelor’s Degree is a plus.

Advanced proficiency with 2D and/or 3D CAD software.

Experience with AutoCAD, MicroStation, Revit, or comparable design platforms.

Strong knowledge of structural steel, reinforced concrete, foundations, equipment supports, and general civil/structural design principles.

Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, calculations, field information, and existing plant documentation to develop and modify design packages.

Ability to work independently while coordinating effectively with engineers, project teams, and other design disciplines.

Strong attention to detail with an understanding of design quality, constructability, drawing control, and configuration management.
