Title: Commissioning Manager/ Specialist
Location: Emporia, VA
Duration: 12-16 months
Pay Range: Open (Non-Exempt)
Per Diem: $178.00/day
Mob/demob: $500.00/each way
Travel Home: Client will pay for travel home 1x per month

Overview:
The individual will be responsible for overseeing the transition of an LNG facility from mechanical completion through commissioning, startup, performance testing, and ultimately commercial operation.

Job Description: 
Key responsibilities will include leading the overall commissioning effort; providing technical oversight of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and control systems; coordinating multidisciplinary teams, contractors, vendors, and inspectors; maintaining a strong focus on safety and compliance; and resolving technical and operational issues necessary to achieve project milestones and operational readiness.

Education and Background Requirements: 

• Individual must have strong LNG commissioning/startup experience and leadership on large-scale LNG projects. 5-10 years experience. 
• High School Diploma Required. 

Physical Requirements:
Individual may be required to climb ladders, scaffolding, or stairs to inspect or conduct walk-downs on active construction sites. Individual may be required to walk or traverse the construction site in rough or uneven surfaces, and for long periods of time. Individual also may be required to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl or reach to check installations or complete walk-downs. Individual must be able to lift 50 lb. as well as have visual acuity and hearing / capable of reacting to loud equipment and alarms. Work will be completed in all weather conditions including heat, cold, rain and wind. Individual must be able to wear PPE, including safety boots, hard hats, high-visibility vests, and safety glasses.
