Mechanical Planner II or III

Join a team supporting critical nuclear power operations.

G.D. Barri & Associates is seeking an experienced Mechanical Planner to support maintenance and work management activities at a nuclear power facility. Nuclear experience is a plus. This role is ideal for a planner who understands nuclear plant equipment, maintenance processes, and the importance of safe, efficient, and well-planned work execution.

As a Nuclear Mechanical Planner, you will develop detailed maintenance work packages, coordinate materials and resources, and work closely with maintenance, engineering, operations, and field teams to ensure work is properly planned and ready for execution.

What You'll Do

Develop and maintain detailed nuclear maintenance work packages.
Plan mechanical maintenance activities involving pumps, valves, piping, heat exchangers, and rotating equipment.
Identify required tools, materials, spare parts, equipment, and vendor support.
Develop schedules, resource requirements, spreadsheets, and planning documentation.

What You Bring:

Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
6+ years of nuclear mechanical or electrical planning experience.
Strong knowledge of nuclear power plant equipment and maintenance practices.
