JOB DESCRIPTION
The EPU team is looking for a technical basis research preparer and technical report reviewer.
This position has dual responsibilities dependent on group needs.
Approximately 50% of work will be associated with conducting research and retrieval of technical information contained within the Plant Vogtle technical basis documents, summarizing the information consistent with the Nuclear Corporation format, and submitting for review and approval.
The technical basis consists of original and updated plant technical analysis, calculations, modification design packages. (Note: Company possesses a rudimentary Artificial Intelligence (AI) search capability to assist with the research function.)
Approximately 50% of time will be associated with performing technical reviews and providing feedback on analysis reports prepared by others.
These reports analyze various aspects of upgrading the plant performance.

REQUIREMENTS

An engineering degree from an accredited school is required.
5 years or more of direct experience will be considered in lieu of an engineering degree.
This position will report to the EPU Supervisor.

This position may require some bending, lifting, climbing, prolonged sitting, prolonged walking, walking on gravel or crawling when necessary
