[Mechanical Engineer] Port Development Engr/PE sought for 2 year Middle East assignment

Contract / Temp to Direct / Direct Hire: Direct Hire

Global EPC Organization seeks Port Development Engineer - P.E. expatriate for two year commitment to major Middle East Infrastructure Projects.

Major responsibilities include participation in FEED process, design and review port developments, bulk material terminals, quay and berths, marine structures and sea defenses, offshore piling and mooring as part of major Municipal development projects. This includes participation in the Vendor and Sub Contractor bidding process, and review of contractor technical submittals, quality control program, start-up plans and schedules.

Qualifications include:

BS Civil/Marine/Hydraulic Engineering from fully accredited school
Current Professional Engineer license
Demonstrable general civil/marine/coastal technical engineering design experience in port developments, bulk material terminals, quay and berths and coastal and hydraulic engineering works
Demonstrable design experience in marine structures and sea defenses, offshore piling, moorings for shipping, related marine and land based soil investigations, conducting surveys and feasibility studies.
Knowledge of relevant computer software applications used in design of marine facilities, including Finite Element Analysis
Package, and Vessel Mooring Analysis preferred.
Excellent written and oral communication skills
