Perini Management Services, Inc. is currently looking for a Safety & Health Program Manager for a project located in Montevideo, Uruguay.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Reports to the Project Manager for project/operational issues and administratively to the Division Safety Manager
• Assist with the development of Activity Hazard Analyses
• Coordinates the project’s safety effort and ensures compliance with safety policies and procedures
• Attends all pre-construction meetings to provide guidance for the pre-planning of work activities, ensure that employees have required training and provides training when necessary
• Facilitate the project safety orientation program and ensure that all employees attend prior to working on-site
• Attend and participate in weekly safety meetings, assist in resolving safety questions and ensure that the meetings are productive
• Perform daily safety inspections of trades/work areas and correct unsafe conditions and behaviors as they are discovered. Submit a written report to the Division Safety Director on a weekly basis
• Conduct a monthly site wide safety stand-down
• Chair the project Safety and Health Committee
• Assists with accident/incident investigation and reviews reports to ensure that investigations are complete and that preventative measures are in place
• Review all safety documentation to ensure records and reports are complete, accurate and submitted per established procedures
• Issue all required permits (confined space entry, hot work, etc.) to subcontractors as necessary
• Coordinate and accompany all project safety audits by the client, owner, insurance or other safety representatives

REQUIREMENTS:
• Possess either a CSP or CHST
• Minimum five years of experience as a site construction safety manager
• Completed the OSHA 30 Hr.
• Knowledge of USACE EM 385-1-1
• Possesses a security clearance or has ability to obtain a security clearance
