Project Location: Chatham Park, Pittsboro, North Carolina

Normal Hours Worked: 5 - 10's

Hourly Rate Based on Experience

Potential Start Date: November 2017

Must live over 90 miles from jobsite to qualify for Per Diem.

Requirements: Must have or be able to complete the required Online PowerSafe Training. Company will provide login information.
Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test in order to obtain CCS Card.

Equipment Operator, Medium
May operate one type or several types of power construction equipment such as:

Excavator
Telehandler
Trencher
Back hoe (rubber tire)
Bulldozer ( less than D-6)
Compactor (self-propelled)
Fork Lift (rough terrain)
Front-end Loader (rubber tire, less than 1 yard bucket)
Truck (Over 2 tons, dump, multi-axle)

Moves hand levers, adjusts hand wheels, depresses pedals to drive machines and control
attachments such as blades, buckets, and swing booms.

Inspects equipment on daily basis to insure safe operation, before use. May be necessary to pass certification prior to operating some equipment.

Annual physical examination may be required.
Must be knowledgeable in OSHA regulations regarding excavation methods and practices, swing barricades and back up alarms.

Excavation equipment operators must have ability to read survey stakes for alignment and grading.

Operators must be able to verify load weights, understand standard hand signals, operate within equipment manufacturer specified limits and be able to read and interpret load charts.

Responsible for observing and complying with all safety and project rules. May perform other duties as required. Truck operators may be required to have valid state motor vehicle operatorís license.

The normal work environment will be in an industrial facility where exposure to outdoor weather
conditions is possible and where proper personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for a variety of
potential hazards.
