Millwrights/Mechanics: Gas Engine, Compressor, and Turbine disassembly, cleaning, and inspection including the accurate collection and recording of technical inspection data for equipment repair proposals.
• Maintaining clear and concise daily work records and job.
• Use of basic problem solving skills in terms of gathering facts, analyzing the cause and selecting the most accurate solution.
• Maintenance of shop equipment and regular daily shop house-keeping to ensure an organized and safe working environment.
• Responsible for following of all safe work practices, D-R safety and quality policies and procedures during normal daily operations.
Required Qualifications
• High School diploma or equivalent
• The ability to routinely lift at least 25 pounds, as required to perform essential functions of the position.
• The ability to lift up to 50 pounds periodically, as required to perform essential functions of the position.
• Ability to read and interpret equipment manufacturing drawings, shop sketches and equipment repair manuals and procedures as necessary to fulfill duties
• Proficient use of common PMI's (mic's, gauges, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
• A valid U.S. driver’s license. For Canada, a valid Canadian driver’s license.
• Personal tooling and measuring instruments required for general machine shop use.
• Basic computer and word processing skills

Mechanic Classification for U.S.
Lead Man: Worker that besides meeting all Mechanic A requirements will effectively manage department employees and work flows in the field including enforcement of company policy handbook, planning details of working procedures as well as tools and materials. Through utilization of all assets necessary, support goal of meeting the expected/budgeted hours allocated to complete the processes/project including managing materials, safety issues, consumables, payroll, and labor.
Mechanic A: Worker that meets all referenced requirements and takes on the responsibilities and duties referenced with 4-5+ years experience. Employee is able to complete most tasks independently and has a high level of mechanical skills. Worker applies advanced knowledge of the job to complete routine and non-routine assignments with no instructions on routing work, and general instructions on new assignments.
Mechanic B: Worker that meets all referenced requirements and takes on the responsibilities and duties referenced with 3+ years experience. Employee can complete tasks independently and has a strong level of mechanical skill. Worker will be assigned to semi-routine tasks in nature where ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice is required. Normally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new assignments.
Mechanic C: Worker that meets all referenced requirements and takes on the responsibilities and duties referenced with 0 – 2 years related experience. Employee requires supervision on tasks and has a basic level of mechanical skill. Worker will be
