Per diem is offered 7 days a week.
Must have strong Field Engineer experience (8+ years)
The job will involve working with the project team along with selected general contractor(s) in assisting in the planning, scheduling, execution and tracking of the costs of the Turnaround.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in gas plants along with strong skills in Microsoft office along with P6 or Microsoft Projects.
Demonstrate Professionalism while encouraging and practicing teamwork.
A TA field engineer must demonstrate the ability to construct a quality work plan that can be clearly communicated, executed safely and efficiently by all crafts based upon their assigned discipline and task.
Planning efforts should drive 100% safety & environmental compliance incorporating Safe Work Practices/Procedures that lay the ground work for assuring quality execution within given construction work-x window.
– Possess the ability to meet Milestone Deadlines for all projects and deliverables.
*Must be able to use client Infonet to resource information to build estimates and plans
*Demonstrates proficiency in using the TA Tools (Maximo, Excel, P6, CMMS)
*Can independently use the Infonet & ITC-Job aids to ensure that all necessary documentation needed to execute are in TA packages.
*Must be able to read and understand P&ID’s and ISO’s.
*Performs field verifications to obtain accurate planning data.
*Create templates & estimates in estimating Database using Work Break Down Structure.
*Communicates effectively with craft supervision, TA coordinators & Operations relaying the objectives of the execution plan.
*Builds proper logic ties and (WBS) to represent actual work steps and task relationships within job plan.
*Estimates & orders all material needed for work execution & template.
*Assemble BOM’s and gain accurate material estimates
*Verifies material delivery orders, dimensions, & follows receipt of inspection process.
*Communicates delivery dates and accounts for all material to be on site by milestone target date.
*Follows CR process for any additions or missed items correcting any missed BOM.
*Able to use CMMS to track material
*Understands indirect cost associated with material handling. (What is & is not included.)
*Estimates to meet +5% and -5% standard
*Owns the overall estimate and work construct-ability through all phases of planning, execution and Close out.
*Assumes the lead position while working with other crafts, FE’s and organizational support during initial planning to be able to develop a quality construction plan and estimate.
*Complete all Cold eye reviews using Cold eye Criteria document. Complete action items and apply any learning’s to final work package prior to distribution.
*Creates a detailed Construction Job package using the ITC-Tools. Adds notes & revisions prior to close out.
*Meets daily with crafts & TA coordinator to give updates and conducts audits of craft execution and SWP.
*Is in the field 80% of the time.
*Accurately updates work status to the coordinator and P-6 during all phases of execution.
*Turns in work permits for the next shift and submits requests for support equipment and services needed to support the scope of work for the next shift.
*Equipment Status sheet.
*Monitors work productivity and tracks actual vs estimated daily. Initiates CR process as needed.
*Status Boards- Tracks sign offs and keeps current to match submitted progress.
Post TA/ Close Out
*Continuously grows & learns from TA/SD’s based upon evaluation form.
*Provides detailed feedback to enhance the TA management systems used for estimating and execution.
*Submits all close out documentation –
*Redlines and package revisions submitted in accordance with milestone close outs
*Review actual versus estimated and records any key learnings prior to phase close out.
*Adds findings to project close out stating reasons for any discrepancies.
*Tracks & documents all learning opportunities and incorporates knowledge into future planning.
*Reviews FE evaluation form with Site Lead and TA manager
*Capture personal improvements or accomplishments.
*Details any areas of needed improvement to be able to grow and get training.
*Able to assume the Role of small caps project F.E. for T.A. integration
*Must be competent in job knowledge to participate in all meetings
*8-10+ years’ experience
*Engineering/ Construction/ Turnaround background
*Direct field experience in a refinery/ petrochemical/ construction environment
