E2 Consulting Engineers shall provide Project management support to PG&E’s Gas Transmission Division.
The following tasks and types of activities shall be provided including but not limited to:
•Project Manager who shall have overall responsibility for the project for their respective organization for Project execution and lead their respective organizations’ teams.
•Coordinate with PG&E project stakeholders as required for each project, including but not limited to Engineering, Scheduling, Environmental, Permitting, and Construction stakeholders.
•Track and align project and program costs.
•Lead and attend project coordination meetings and maintain follow-up list of action items.
•Lead respective project’s vendor communication via phone, email, and face to face meetings.
•Attend weekly construction meetings for projects.
•Ensure project data is maintained in appropriate databases.
•Coordinate between analytical support, vendors and contract administrators.
•Obtain management approval as needed and is responsible for program management, cost tracking, scope implementation and schedule.
•Accurately forecast projects according to PG&E standards
•Monitor, review, and lead or assist in negotiating Contractor claims
•Ensure vendors complete assigned projects within company policies and procedures, with assigned resources to meet scope, schedule, cost and quality commitments while report to respective department heads.
•Facilitate the majority of project communications
•Travel to project sites as needed throughout Construction
•Report out on projects as required (daily, weekly)
•Proficient in Microsoft Office
The primary work location shall be at Bishop Ranch in San Ramon, California. Travel as required shall be measured from the San Ramon office to job sites only. Mileage shall be reimbursed at current IRS approved rates.
Undergraduate degree in Construction Science, Buildeing Science or Construction Engineering advanced degree and PMP or equivalent with 5-15 years experience.
