Immediate need! System One is currently seeking a Mechanical Field Engineer for a senior role at project site in Sunray, TX. This is temp for 9-12 months with excellent potential for direct hire. No per diem or relo assistance provided.
Mechanical Field Engineer will work onsite at a petroleum refining manufacturing facility. 
Developing design basis and Class II cost estimate for assigned retrofit/revamp projects as part of the client's assessment / option analysis phases for small and mid-cap project execution. 
Ten to fifteen projects that involve various types of mechanical equipment including fixed and rotating equipment, HVAC, tanks, and piping. 
This position involves teamwork, communicating and coordinating with plant operations, maintenance and reliability groups to develop a basis of design for each project. 
Once project is completed through the scope development phase, the project mechanical engineer will assist and support the client's EPC execution team to see the project through detail design, procurement and construction.
Bachelor's Degree (Mechanical or Chemical Engineering)
5 to 15 years’ experience in refining, chemical or petrochemical manufacturing environment.
Experience with retrofit / revamp projects in the small to mid-cap size range for petroleum refining.
