Project Controls Manager
*FULL TIME, LONG-TERM NEED - MUST LIVE/RELOCATE TO BISMARK
$150,000.00 - $170,000.00 BOE + Relocation + Signing Bonus + 100% Health and Dental
Start date- immediate need
Projects- supporting large industrial construction and maintenance projects
Primary Function- Plan, develop, coordinate and supervise all planning, scheduling, and project reporting functions for company (Cost and P6 Scheduling)
-Manage and direct all planning and scheduling functions for all large, extensive projects and groups
of smaller projects. Includes personnel administration and staffing activities, establishing
objectives, providing technical direction and support, employee development, etc.
-Establish and deploy training programs for Project Controls over the entire range of experience
-Lead the development and growth of organizational capability and competency throughout company in
the project management practice of Project Controls.
-Insure all planning and scheduling activities such as schedule development, updates progress
reporting and problem analysis activities comply with company and client requirements.
-Vet Project Controls personnel, procedures and reports for adequacy and accuracy early in the
-Prepare weekly report summary and present at Monday morning management meetings as well as provide
PC presentations to management and clients
-Monitor performance of all field planner/scheduler personnel to develop a robust database of capable
resources ready and able to service backlog of projects.
-Provide consultation to company personnel, A/E's, primes and subcontractors, clients, etc. in
planning and schedule analysis providing options for problem solution.
-Provide support to estimating and proposals to include bid schedules and project execution plans
-Conduct audits of the project control system to ensure procedures are implemented and followed and
that the project reporting system accurately reflects the status of project
-Other duties as assigned by VP of Project Services.
-Supports the organizationís mission and vision through the independent role of construction project
controls in ensuring that projects are appropriately planned and supported.
-B.S. in Construction Mgt. or engineering related field
-Strong working proficiency with Primavera 6.0
-Must be high energy and results oriented
-Proven ability to build and lead project controls team
-Ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of audiences
-Application of KPS
-Expert in the development and implementation of integrated Project Controls systems, including
planning & scheduling systems and cost control tools.
-Proficient with rules of credits and earned value, productivity and production tracking
