Johnson Service Group (JSG) is actively searching for several Engineering Technicians for our client’s Atlanta, GA operation in Midtown. The position is a contract to hire role with competitive pay, advancement opportunities and ability to work from home. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an industry leader.

Responsibilities:

Verify wire utility attachments meet code and client specific requirements
Develop new/proposed attachment plan for clearance violations
Review pole data collected in field for accuracy of existing attachments
Perform Pole Loading Analyses (PLA) and Make Ready Engineering (MRE) designs using O-Calc Pro
Create analysis reports of PLA’s and MRE’s as part of the customer deliverables
Manage assignments and meet/exceed production goals
Coordinate with Field Management
Track and report on progress of production projects
Qualifications:

1+ years of Engineering, Make Ready design and/or CAD experience
Bachelor’s or Associate degree preferred (Recent graduates will be considered)
Advanced MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
Excellent communication and cross-cultural interpersonal skills
Ability to handle confidential information professionally
Strong attention to detail
Overhead Utility, PLA/MRE experience is a plus
