Contract / Temp to Direct / Direct Hire: Contract

Location: PA
Start: January
Duration: 14 months
Per diem
Hours: 50+ per week
Mob & Demob

BSEE(preferred) and combined cycle experience required.

Electrical Lead will report directly to the Start Up Manager. Promote and provide leadership for Safety. Direct and coordinate the daily activities of Start Up field engineers and construction support craft. Assume direct responsibility of all electrical components and systems integrity for completion of contractual requirements with the highest degree of safety and quality.

-Bachelors of Science degree in a technical major or non-degree professional with commensurate experience.
-Minimum 5 years power plant or heavy industrial experience with progression of responsibilities in the electrical discipline.
-Knowledge of contract and budget management.
-Experience using computer management and scheduling tools.
-Experience reading and interpreting electrical, I&C and mechanical drawings with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
-Experience reading and understanding OEM technical manuals.
-Project experience with substation equipment, including substation automation, SCADA, and control/relay protection
-Experience/working knowledge of DC system components, power transformers, circuit breakers, circuit protection, control/power cables and ground grids.
-Experience/working knowledge of the following Electrical systems 13.8~26kV, 4.16kV, 480 Volt, 120 VAC, 125Vdc, 120/240 VAC, diesel generators, plant lighting, heat tracing, grounding and lightning protection.
-Strong technical, supervisory and organizational skills.
-Capable of monitoring and assessing subcontracted functions.
